Hala Al- Ansari “Privilege of Honor”

The General-Secretary of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), Hala Al- Ansari, issued a decision to form a committee under the name of “Privilege of Honor” committee. This decsion comes in implementation of the decisions issued by the President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW) Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa, comprising a study of the statuses of young Bahraini women in leadership positions, conducted by the preparatory committee, and the initiative of excellence for the pioneering, young Bahraini businesswoman. The membership of this committee ends by the end of the fourth session of SCW. The committee\'s responsibilities includes the proposing of regulations and standards, as well as mechanism of obtaining the “Privilege of honor”. The committee also evaluates applicants for this “Privilege of Honor”, suggests names of candidates, and determines the conditions for the “Privilege of Honor”. The committee reports its recommendations to SCW\'s General-secretary, who shall in turn refer the report to Her Royal Highness the President of SCW, in order to issue a final decision regarding the recommendations.
