German Interior Minister Thomas de Maiziere will head on monday to the United States for talks on the protection of data and information technology security. A spokesman for the German Interior Ministry said today de Maiziere will start his talks in Washington on Monday and will continue until Wednesday. The German Interior Minister is scheduled to meet with US Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Charles Johnson, Attorney General Eric Holder, Advisor to the US President Johan Podesta and Director of National Intelligence James Clapper. He will also meet with represenatives of major internet and computer comanies such as Facebook, Yahoo, Apple and Microsoft.(QNA)
