German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier left here Friday on a two-day tour of Lebanon and Jordan.
During his visit of Lebanon, Steinmeier will meet Prime Minister Tammam Salam and Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil, the German Federal Foreign Office said in a press release.
Meanwhile in Jordan, he will be meeting with King Abdullah II and Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh, the press release added.
He will probe the issue of Syrian refugees in both countries as well as regional issues, including means to fight growing terrorism posed by Daesh militias, it added.
