Chairman of the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments (GAIAE) in the UAE Mohammad Mattar Al Kaabi arrived here Wednesday on a visit to Egypt where he will meet with a galaxy of officials.
Kaabi's visit comes six months after a visit by Egypt's Endowments Minister Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa to the UAE last September when he met with his Emirati counterpart.
The two sides discussed means of boosting religious bilateral cooperation as well as exchanging expertise in religious affairs.
For his part, Gomaa hailed the achievements of the GAIAE and its unique service that benefits many citizens, expressing hope that similar religious institutions would follow suit.
