GCC Secretary-General Dr Abdullatif Al Zayani praised today the efforts of the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC) in achieving the goal of industrial integration between GCC members.
The GCC Secretary-General was making a visit to GOIC's headquarters in Doha where he met with its officials and listened to a detailed presentation on the organization's strategy of supporting the industrial sector whether it is publicly owned or privately owned. GOIC also briefed the Secretary-General on their role in offering guidance and technical support to governments in its industrial plans.
The Secretary-General praised GOIC for its work in developing the performance of industrial companies in the GCC, which helps achieve the economic development foals of the GCC and Yemen. He also stressed on the importance of the role GCC cadres play in the industrial sector.
Al Zayani also stressed on the importance of enhancing cooperation between GOIC and public and private companies to benefit the industrial sector and make it more competitive regionally and internationally.
