French President Francois Hollande has arrived in the United Arab Emirates, UAE, to participate in the conference on Safeguarding Endangered Cultural Heritage, which began today at the Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi.
Upon arrival at the Presidential Flight Airport in Abu Dhabi, Hollande and members of the delegation accompanying him were welcomed by Noura bint Mohammed Al Kaabi, Minister of State for Federal National Council Affairs, Madhed Hareb Al Khaiili, the UAE Ambassador to France, and other officials.
An official reception was held for the French president at the airport where he shook hands with the officials and inspected the guard of honour.
