Assistant Foreign Minister for Consular Affairs Hesham el Naqeeb revealed that he will make a tour of Amman, Beirut and Jeddah, during the upcoming period, to discuss the situations of Egyptian expats there.
The tour, under the directives of Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry, meant to boost connections with Egyptian expats and preserve their rights.
Naqeeb will be accompanied during his tour by representatives of the General Authority For Investment, interior, housing and finance ministries as well as Long Live Egypt fund.
The agenda of the tour includes addressing the situation of the Egyptian community abroad and their contributions to the national economy in face of current challenges.
In a bid to overcome obstacles facing Egyptian expats, ambassador Naqeeb said that he will work on easing procedural and legal difficulties pertaining to their entry, stay and work in Jordan Saudi Arabia and Lebanon.
