Russia's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will pay a working visit to Kuwait later this month, the Russian foreign ministry has said.
The ministry did not give the date of the visit, but said that the preparations for Lavrov's trip to Kuwait were discussed between Russian President's Special Envoy to the Middle East Mikhail Bogdanov and Kuwaiti Ambassador to Russia Abdulaziz Al Adwani.
The two sides also discussed efforts to enhance Kuwaiti-Russian relations in various fields, the ongoing crisis in the Middle East and Kuwait's mediation effort in the dispute between four Arab countries and Qatar. Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported.
