Prime Minister Sherif Ismail issued on Thursday a decision on forming the board of directors of the General Authority for the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE).
The new board of directors is led by the chairman of the Suez Canal Authority.
The board members include the Egyptian ministers of investment and trade as well as the governor of Port Said, representatives of the Defense and Military Production ministries and others.
Membership of the board is valid for three years.
Earlier, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi issued a decree to form SCZONE and also appointed its head and deputy head.
