Egyptian Prime Minister Sherif Ismail will lead Egypt's delegation to the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC), which kicks off Friday here.
The two-day event will be inaugurated by South African President Jacob Zuma and Chinese President Xi Jinping.
Ismail, who is scheduled to arrive here early Friday, will deliver Egypt's address on the importance of Chinese-African cooperation and means to promote it to contribute to sustainable development in Africa.
He will also touch on facilitated measures taken by Egypt to Chinese investors.
On the sidelines of the event, the Egyptian premier will hold a series of meetings with African leaders and senior officials in addition to the Chinese side.
His accompanying ministerial delegation will also hold meetings with participating delegations on attracting investments to Egypt, especially to the Suez Canal Corridor project.
