He said sports has a significant positive impact on the students’ health and learning abilities and they should be encouraged to practice sports both in schools and outside it. He further praised the school’s efforts in this regard and expressed the wish that Dubai Fitness Challenge will form a starting point for people to get involved in sports and fitness activities that will improve their quality of life and enhance their health.
Sheikh Hamdan said the Dubai Fitness Challenge is in line with the UAE’s efforts to promote a high quality of life and health for all communities, which will eventually enhance productivity and happiness.
He also called on parents to encourage their children to pursue sports and make it a part of their everyday routine and excel in the sporting disciplines of their choice, as sports does not conflict with the pursuit of good education.
