Kuwait's Oil Minister and Minister of State for National Assembly Affairs Dr. Ali Al-Omair arrived here on Wednesday to take part in the 14th International Energy Forum (IEF), due to open at Radisson Royal Hotel tomorrow. The minister leads a senior-level delegation that includes Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil for Economic Affairs and country governor for OPEC Nawal Al-Fezaia, KPC Managing Director International Marketing Nasser Al-Mudhaf, Executive Director of the Minister's Office Sheikha Eman Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and Director of the Ministry's International Relations Dept. Sheikh Tamadhor Khaled Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah. They were welcomed by Kuwait Ambassador to Russia Abdulaziz Al-Adwani and other diplomatic staff. The agenda of the two-day ministerial gathering includes, inter alia, the new geography of energy, unconventional oil and gas: outlook, risks and potential, transition to a low-carbon economy, and building resilient energy systems
