Human Rights and Social Development Minister Dr. Fatima Al Blushi hailed today Bahraini productive families' remarkable contributions to social and economic development in Bahrain. Marking the Arab Productive Families Day, which is celebrated on March 15, she hailed the occasion as an opportunity to recall with pride and appreciation the Arab productive families' praise-worthy accomplishments. She said the Arab Productive Families Day was approved by the Arab Social Affairs Ministers in line with a proposal by Bahrain to celebrate it on March 15 of every year to encourage productive families. Dr. Al Blushi also pointed out the ministers' approval of an Arab award named after Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka Bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW). She lauded Bahrainis' innovative talents to feed the market with unique and distinguished products, underlining, in this context, the Human Rights and Social Development Ministry's facilities provided for productive families to participate actively with new projects. She also commended strong support of HRH Princess Sabeeka to these projects and national initiatives to further boost Bahraini women's role in various fields. She affirmed that HRH Princess Sabeeka's patronage and personal presence in the distribution ceremony of her award is a stimulus for productive families to enhance their presence as main contributors to the national economy. She described HRH Princess Sabeeka's valuable directives and productive families' outstanding contributions as an index of the advanced phase reached in implementing the kingdom's ambitious Economic Vision 2030. She said training productive families by prestigious international companies contributes to opening up new horizons to develop small and medium enterprises. She also asserted that Bahrain's productive families experience is a model of sustainable development and human capability to enroll at the economic process.
