President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nicos Anastasiades, arrived late Friday in Amman to take part in the World Economic Forum on Middle East and North Africa (WEF-MENA), which is currently underway at the Dead Sea.
Upon arrival at Amman International Airport, Anastasiades was received by Ministry of Industry and Trade Yarob Qudah, the Cypriot ambassador to the Kingdom as well as other military and civic officials.
More than 1,100 political and business leaders from more than 50 countries are attending the forum .
“Enabling a Generational Transformation” is the theme of the forum, whose pillars include building inclusive economies, enabling collaborative innovation, empowering youth and supporting humanitarian efforts and diplomatic dialogue.
