Minister of Culture Helmi el Namnam received on Monday Bahraini Ambassador in Cairo Sheikh Rashid bin Abdel Rahman Al Khalifa.
The ambassador conveyed thanks of Bahraini King Hamd bin Issa bin Salman and Bahraini Minister of Culture Sheikha Mai Al Khalifa on Egypt's invitation to Bahrain to be an honorary guest during the Cairo International Book Fair 2016.
Namnam, for his part, voiced thanks to Bahrain on its swift reply to the invitation, expecting that the coming round of Cairo Book Fair to be a successful one.
In the meantime, the Bahraini Ambassador asserted that the kingdom would take part in supporting tourism sector in Egypt as Sharm El Sheikh City will receive on Tuesday a number of Bahraini artistic squads, highlighting the strength of the two countries' cultural relations and the sustained cooperation between the two countries in the various domains.
