Visiting Congolese Prime Minister Matata Ponyo and his accompanying delegation paid a visit to the Giza Pyramids on Saturday.
Ponyo voiced happiness for visiting the most important archaeological site worldwide and hailed Egypt's great civilization.
Water Resources and Irrigation Minister Hossam Moghazi accompanied the Congolese prime minister during the visit, according to the media center of the Pyramids archaeological area.
The archaeological site, located 25 kilometers southwest of the capital, contains the three pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, as well as the Sphinx and ancient tombs.
