H.H. Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chief of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court, today toured the 13th International Defence Exhibition and Conference, IDEX 2017, being held in the capital Abu Dhabi.
He visited the stands of Emirati exhibitors Tawazun Holding and Emirates Defence Industries Company, as well as exhibitors from Egypt, Sudan and Germany.
In remarks made during the tour, he stressed that the UAE welcomes global companies to the show to exhibit their latest innovations, and that the UAE leadership has a keen interest in supporting national defence manufactures to achieve global expansion.
Sheikh Hamed was also briefed by heads of participating delegations about modern defence systems being showcased at the exhibition.
They spoke about the important of IDEX and a global platform for exchanging expertise and ideas and showcasing the latest in defence technology.
