We\'re all keeping our fingers crossed that comeback queen Britney Spears finally gets a happy ending with her third marriage to Jason Trawick. All except her, that is. She\'s too busy showing off the tiara-motif Neil Lane engagement ring that Jason proposed with at his cosy 40th birthday dinner last month. \"Jason didn\'t want an over-the-top ring with a giant stone,\" says US celebrity jewellery designer Neil, who took a month to design the ring, which has a perfect 3-carat white diamond in the centre in a handmade platinum setting, with 90 small diamonds around the eternity band. According to Neil, Jason was nervous and excited when he picked up the ring a week before he popped the question, and was suffering from major pre-proposal jitters. We would be too, if it was someone with Britney\'s track record we were proposing to! Britney, 30, first got married in 2004, to her childhood friend Jason Alexander at a Las Vegas chapel only to have the marriage annulled 55 hours later. Her second marriage was to Kevin Federline with whom she had two sons, Preston (six) and Jayden (five) - the marriage ended in 2006, after which she went on a headline-making downward spiral. Her relationship with Jason, her former agent, started in 2009, around which time she also started to clean up her act to make a remarkable recovery as a legitimate A-list pop star. Neil is convinced that Jason and Britney are in this for the long haul, saying, \"For Jason, Britney is his ‘everyday princess\',\" which is probably why the ring looks like a ‘mini crown\'. We\'ll leave it for time to tell, but in the meantime, if you want to make like Britney - only as far as the sparkler goes - the ring can be yours for the asking at Azal at Emirates Towers Boulevard.
