Brazilian Foreign Minister Mauro Vieira will pay an official working visit to Tunisia on Friday.
During his stay, the Brazilian top diplomat will meet with his Tunisian counterpart Khamis Al Jehinawi to discuss ways to foster bilateral ties and cooperation, the Tunisian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
Vieira is expected to sign with Tunisian officials a number of agreements to strengthen cooperation between Brazil and Tunisia in various fields, the statement added.
Also, the two foreign ministers will touch on international and regional issues of common concern, the statement noted.
Following his meeting with Al Jehinawi, Vieira is to meet with a raft of senior Tunisian officials during his tour that will take him also to Morocco and Ethiopia, the statement read.
