Bahrain took part Tuesday in the emergency meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation’s (OIC) executive committee on Syria, which was held in Jeddah.
Bahrain’s ambassador to Saudi Arabia and its permanent representative to the OIC Sheikh Hamoud bin Abdullah Al Khalifa represented his country in the meeting.
The meeting was held upon Kuwait’s request to discuss the tragic developments in Aleppo.
The meeting’s communiqué reiterated its condemnation to the Syrian regime over its atrocities, military operations, and airstrikes against the populated residential areas and the systematic targeting to civilians.
