Egyptian Awqaf Minister Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa left here on Tuesday returning home after a three-day visit to Morocco where he participated in a conference on rights of religious minorities in Muslim countries.
Gomaa was accompanied by Egypt’s Mufti Shawqi Allam, member of the Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs Osama el Azhari and Adviser of Egypt’s Mufti Magdy Ashour.
Meanwhile, the Moroccan newspapers highlighted Egypt’s call to the UN to adopt citizenship principle which came at Egypt’s speech in the event where Gomaa called for issuing an international law banning religious contempt.
