Bahrain Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammad bin Mubarak Al Khalifa on Wednesday received former secretary-general of the Arab League Amr Moussa who was handed Sheikh Issa bin Ali Al Khalifa Award for Voluntary Work.
Sheikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, the honorary president of the Good Word Society (GWS) presented the award to Moussa, who is currently on a visit to Bahrain.
The award is organized by the Good Word Society in cooperation with the Arab Federation of Voluntary Activities.
Sheikh Isa welcomed Moussa and congratulated him on winning this award. They exchanged views and thoughts on various issues of concern to the Arab world and challenges facing the region.
Moussa thanked the Deputy Premier for receiving him and expressed his delight at visiting Bahrain. He also expressed good wishes to Bahrain's leadership and people for more progress and prosperity.
