HH Sheikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, has ordered the release of 47 prisoners who had shown good conduct while serving their terms in punitive and reformative institutions in the emirate, on the occasion of the UAE's 45th National Day.
The move comes as part of Sheikh Humaid’s keenness to give pardoned inmates an opportunity to start a new life and ease the suffering of their families.
The Ajman Ruler expressed hopes that the inmates would be given the opportunity to join their families soon and live the rest of their lives as good individuals in society.
Colonel Abdullah Al Hamrani, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Ajman Police, thanked the Ruler for his noble gesture which reflects his keenness to give prisoners the opportunity to be reunited with their families.
