Hussain bin Ibrahim Al Hammadi, Minister of Education and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Abu Dhabi Vocational Education and Training Institute, ADVETI, stressed that ADVETI is training future generations of Emirati nationals who are globally competitive and can meet the demands of the job market.

He made this statement during his speech at a celebration organised by ADVETI, on the occasion of the graduation of its new batch of 128 Emirati students, who successfully obtained their diploma and higher diploma certificates in engineering technology, business management and information technology.

The celebration was also attended by Dr. Abdulrahman Jassem Al Hammadi, Managing Director of ADVETI, as well as senior officials, section deans and the parents of the students.

Al Hammadi said that the new batch of ADVETI graduates represents the new and prosperous result of the efforts of the wise leadership, to train national manpower who are globally competitive and can meet the demands of the job market and participate in the country’s future development projects.

He added that ADVETI is working according to a modern strategy, which rapidly and effectively implements the directives of the wise leadership through innovation in the various specialised areas of engineering, technology and industry, in line with the UAE Vision 2021 and the Abu Dhabi Vision 2030.

He instructed the graduates to continue their diligent and creative efforts, to pay back their nation and its wise leadership while wishing them further luck in their academic and professional lives.

ADVETI, which was established in 2007 and has seven entities, is an initiative of the Abu Dhabi Government seeking to empower Emiratis with the competencies needed to contribute to the nation’s development through workplace focused, lifelong technical and vocational education and training.
