Amman Chamber of Commerce (ACC) President Issa Murad, and Tajikistan’s non-resident Ambassador, Zubaydullo Zubaidov,Tuesday discussed preparations to convene a joint business forum on the sidelines of Tajik President Imam Ali Rehmanov’s visit to Jordan before the end of the year.
Murad said that the ACC will put in place arrangements for the Tajik leader to open the Jordanian-Tajik business forum, which will be held on the 26th of November, stressing that economic ties have become fundamental between countries.
He added that the ACC will also arrange bilateral meetings between Tajik traders and businessmen and their Jordanian counterparts to boost trade exchange between the two countries, pointing to the participation of representatives from the public and private sectors.
Murad stressed preparation to sign trade agreements between the commerce chambers in both countries.
The Tajik ambassador proposed intensifying visits by trade delegations to promote trade ties.
