His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, met with Igor Sechin, CEO of the Russian energy major Rosneft, and his company officials, at the Emirates Palace today evening.
The Abu Dhabi Crown Prince welcomed the Rosneft CEO and discussed with him topics related to oil and energy industries, and investments in these vital sectors.
They also discussed means of co-operation and co-ordination among the national energy companies in the two countries, available opportunities and potentials for exchanging technical expertise in the oil and gas sector.
The meeting was also attended by Dr Sultan bin Ahmad Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of State and CEO of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company or ADNOC Group; Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Affairs Authority, EAA; Mohamed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Under-Secretary of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court, and Omer Saif Ghobash, the UAE Ambassador to Russia.
