Minister of Industry and Trade Munir Fakhri Abdel Nour will embark next week on a visit to Kazakhstan that aims at bolstering joint trade and economic relations.
A statement released on Saturday by the Ministry said Abdel Nour will meet with senior Kazakh officials and the Kazakh government representative to the EuroAsian economic committee.
Abdel Nour, for his part, said his visit to Kazakhstan comes within the framework of the ministry's strategy to promote economic and trade relations between Egypt and the EuroAsian economic group states, including Russia, Belarussia and Kazakhstan in order to tap new markets for Egyptian exports.
Egypt is expected to host in the few coming weeks a delegation of the EuroAsian customs union economic delegation to reviews aspects of establishing a free trade area.
