Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad al-Malki said Wednesday that Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas will attend Abdel Fattah al-Sisi's swearing in ceremony on Sunday.
Malki added that Abbas's participation comes in response to an invitation by the Egyptian government to attend Sis inauguration.
Abbas visit to Egypt is confirmed although it coincides with Abbas visit to Vatican state, Maliki said in a radio statement.
Malki noted that Abbas would attend the ceremony early Sunday before he leaves Cairo for Vatican City to attend a special Mass in response to an invitation by the Vatican pope
