Sheikha Lubna bint Khalid Al Qasimi
Sheikha Lubna bint Khalid Al Qasimi, Minister of Development and International Co-operation, affirmed that President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan deserved the thanks of his people and the whole world for his
high-end philosophy of humanitarian and giving that knows no limits.
In a speech yesterday on the occasion of the 'Thank-You Khalifa' initiative, launched by Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Al Qasimi said that President Khalifa embodied with his giving the values of global humanitarianism, as he has given and still gives more and more, issuing directives to help countries and people in need through the implementation of development projects, and providing assistance during humanitarian disasters.
She emphasised that the Vice President's 'Thank-You Khalifa' initiative is an honour from Sheikh Mohammed to President Sheikh Khalifa in recognition of his tireless efforts for the nation and in order that the UAE people be the happiest people in the world.
She concluded her speech saying that, "We thank Almighty Allah who gave us a leader with the high qualities of wisdom and generosity in President Sheikh Khalifa, and we should learn from the Vice President's initiative that this 'thanks' is the least message that we and the world can send to the leader of both the nation and its development march.
