Two students from the U.A.E. have participated in the Total University Summer School Programme in Paris, under the auspices of the Total Exploration and Production Company, one of the six largest oil companies in the world.
The session lasted 5 days, during which there was participation from 120 students from Asia, Africa, Europe and Americas.
The Total University Summer School aims to enhance the common aspects of the participants within the learning environment, and the programme focuses on several topics, including economic outlook, the future of energy, the environment and corporate social responsibility.
Emirati student, Manal Al Ajmy, a Master's student majoring in International Relations and Law at Paris-Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi, and a previous participant in the Paris Summer Programme said, "Participating in Summer School in Paris was an excellent opportunity which expanded my experiences and taught me how to deal with different cultures from all over the world." The programme is generally considered a great opportunity for the participants to learn more about oil, gas and renewable energy.
