Sudan hopes to build links with world-class universities like Cambridge
Khartoum – Abedalgoum Ashmeag
A Sudanese delegation led by Education Minister Soad Abdel Razek is set to arrive in London next week for an education conference aiming to improve international relationships with schools inside the African
country.
Abdel Razek will survey British educational institutions, as well as the system at large, exploring the possibility of launching Sudanese programmes supporting English-language learning in conjunction with world-class universities such as Oxford and Cambridge.
The delegation will also learn about successful international experiments in education.
Abdel Razek said: \"The delegation will meet with British organisations concerned with promoting English-language teaching in Sudan on top of enhancing relations between the two countries.\"
Sudan’s Education Minister meanwhile expressed her thanks to the British embassy in Khartoum for spreading the use of English in the country, by training new educators in Sudan.
