Dr. Amal Al Qubaisi, General Manager, Abu Dhabi Education Council, delivered the keynote opening address highlighting the importance of having a global outlook to sustain the U.A.E.'s development.
Under the theme, "Our Future, Your Ambition", the Youth Forum was attended by hundreds of students from across the U.A.E.. It offered students the opportunity to interact with Emirati business leaders and role models as they consider the varied career opportunities at the heart of Abu Dhabi's economic development. The event concluded on a high note with students attending a workshop that provided practical experience with interview skills and emphasised the importance of teamwork and interpersonal skills to productivity in the workplace.
Commenting on the additions to this year's Youth Forum, Mubadala's Nadine Saleh Hassan said, "From the Mubadala Youth Award and ADMAF Comic Arts Awards to the practical workshops and the Mubadala asset stations, our aim was to make the forum as engaging and informative as possible. We understand young people's appetite for learning and we hope that we've given them a balanced and rich experience that will help them as they enter the professional phase of their lives."
