Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum met outstanding students of national military universities and colleges at his Zabeel Palace yesterday.
During the meeting, attended by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Sheikh Mohammed welcomed the students and engaged in conversation with them. He told the students, "You are the future leaders of our country and we rely on you to achieve progress in knowledge, economy, culture, sports, medicine and other fields."
Sheikh Mohammed went on to say, "To become number one, mere success is not enough. It has to be coupled with excellence, innovation and hard work. For a house to stand, it needs a solid foundation and for the horses to win, they need brave knights. In order to lead, you need to believe first in Allah the Almighty, in your own ability to excel and in your loyalty to your own nation. The people who know no loyalty, know no progress."

They also pledged allegiance to the UAE under the wise leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
