Education Minister, Elias Bou Saab, confirmed that teachers should be given their rights; otherwise education will be deteriorated in Lebanon, hoping to reach positive result over the file of the salary scale issue.
"If we did not give the teachers their rights, we will be the cause in the decline of education in Lebanon," Bou Saab said at the opening of the Lebanese educational conference at Phoenicia Hotel on Tuesday.
The minister said that they are looking forward to having special programs for persons with learning disabilities, adding "we are in need to update our programs and books to accompany the age challenges."
Bou Saab added there are "grave gaps that cause schools and high schools limitation," noting that the priority is to provide appropriate and healthy educational buildings.
