Abu Dhabi based academic institution ALHOSN University
ALHOSN University, an Abu Dhabi based academic institution, has announced that its courses, qualifications and degrees have been recognised by the Jordanian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The announcement comes shortly after last month visit to ALHOSN University by delegates from the Jordanian Commission for Accreditation, who explored ways to further strengthen ties between the former and Jordan's Higher Education Institutions. Jordanians currently account for a significant portion of ALHOSN's student population.
"Since we opened our doors in 2005 we have been welcoming students of all nationalities who are eager to learn under our philosophy of 'global knowledge with local vision.' Jordanians have been especially responsive to our programs; through the accreditation from the Commission we hope to welcome even more students from Jordan whom we can educate to make a genuine difference to their country upon their return or
wherever their careers and goals take them," said Prof. Munther Talal Momany, Vice Chancellor and CEO, ALHOSN University.
ALHOSN University currently offers 18 undergraduate and 11 graduate programs under the Faculties of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Business, and Arts and Social Sciences. It recently received delegates from the Association of Arab Universities as part of its efforts to foster stronger ties among the region's educational institutions.
