Strong UAE - Egypt ties are a role model for the success of joint Arab action while confronting the dangers the Arab region is facing, Egyptian President Abdul Fattah Al Sisi said yesterday during a meeting with the visiting UAE media delegation.
'Continuous Emirati - Egyptian joint action and delivery of development projects in time as scheduled will squash malicious allegations of sceptics about the feasibility of these projects,' President Al Sisi emphasised.
Presidential Spokesperson Alaa Youssef stated that President Al Sisi had affirmed that the crises the region is undergoing had proven the vibrancy and sincerity of the ties between the UAE and Egypt.
The Egyptian President noted that the landscape of terrorism is expanding more than at any time before and warned against the deviated religious rhetoric, stressing the vital role of the media in heightening public awareness and exposing the violent, extremist ideology.
He said that the Arab region is facing a real threat that requires collective efforts to stamp it out.
He told media persons that joint action is the only way to address challenges and overcome them.
He also shed light on a number of mega projects Egypt is currently undertaking in the political, economic, agricultural, housing and water sectors.
Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Sultan Al Jaber, UAE Minister of State, thanked the Egyptian President for meeting the UAE media delegation and reiterated the UAE's support for inclusive development in Egypt, particularly in the political and economic spheres.
