Director General and Chief Editor of the Omani News Agency (ONA) Mohamed bin Mubarak al-Oraimi paid a visit Friday to the Middle East News Agency (MENA) headquarters and met with its board chairman and editor-in-chief
Alaa Haidar.
The meeting tackled ways to bolster cooperation between the two news agencies in the media domain.
Accompanied by MENA's editor-in-chief, al-Oraimi visited the newsroom, training center, and portal desk.
Al-Oraimi praised the distinguished role MENA plays in covering local, regional and international events and activities.
Haider, for his part, lauded cooperation between the two media outlets, noting that a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed with ONA in this regard.
