Reporter of KUNA John Keating
John Keating, reporter of KUNA in Paris, was re-elected Saturday as President of the Anglo-American Press Association of Paris (AAPA) for the third time in a row. Keating, 56, leads a 13-strong management of the 126-year-old Paris-based
institution.
He joined work at KUNA office here in 1993. He served as AAPA board member and vice president for several years before being elected to the post of president for the first time in 2011.
The AAPA, founded in 1907, groups some 100 representatives of the world's major English-speaking press organizations such as The New York Times, Newsweek, Time (magazine), The Guardian, The Economist, The Wall Street Journal, Sunday Telegraph and the International Herald Tribune.
The Association also groups representatives of leading wire services and media outlets such as the Associated Press, Reuters, AFP, CNN, BBC, NBC and France International, besides KUNA.
