Saudi prince fires director of Islamic TV channel for Muslim Brotherhood ties

Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal has reportedly fired the director of Islamic television channel Al-Resalah channel, ‘to present true Islam’, for his role as the leader of the Muslim Brotherhood in Kuwait
.
Tarek Al-Suwaidan, who admitted the allegations, was the director general of the Kuwaiti satellite channel, which belongs to Alwaleed\'s Rotana Group -a large pan-Arab media conglomerate based in Riyadh, belonging to the billionaire prince.
Al-Suwaidan openly criticised Egypt’s military-back government for its violent crackdown of protesters, and expressed his support of former Egyptian president, and Brotherhood leader, Mohammed Morsi.
Saudi King Abdullah supported Cairo’s crackdown on the demonstrators, and pledged US$5 billion in aid to Egypt’s interim leaders.
