Minister of State Abdullah bin Mohammed Saeed Ghobash
Abdullah bin Mohammed Saeed Ghobash, Minister of State, has launched the website of the Ministry of State in response to, and in line with, the vision of the U.A.E. government, which aims to contribute in the facilitation of customer services and
give speedy access to information and services provided by the Federal government through its website.
Ghobash pointed out that the launching of the new website, http://www.minister.gov.ae, comes in accordance with the best local and international standards to facilitate access to information and speedy completion of government transactions, noting that the site was created to support the use of services electronically according to specific standards for federal sites as issued by the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority.
Ghobash noted that the launching of the federal government electronic services by the Ministry reflects the significant progress achieved by the U.A.E. in the field of technology, noting that Government practices have now reached advanced levels that are similar to the practices of companies and the private sector in the provision of services, which will enable the government to achieve its goal of becoming a "smart government".
The website, which launched in both Arabic and English languages, also includes relevant 'contact us' information, which gives up-to-date contact numbers to facilitate communication with the Ministry, in addition to an illustrated map to the Ministry's website.
