Asian cultural influences with the best of Scandinavian design

Trendig 2013 capsule collection will be available at the end of September For the first time, Ikea will launch a capsule collection of limited edition furniture and houseware products, rolling out starting on September 27. Bearing the name Trendig 2013, the new line unites Asian cultural influences with the best of Scandinavian design.
The famous Swedish retail chain has put together a limited edition collection including dishes (plates, bowls, saucers), furniture (a chest, a dessert cart, chairs, tables), textiles and table accessories (trays, placemats).
Based on the natural materials and original patterns the brand is known for, the collection displays influences from both Asian and Scandinavian design traditions. Pricing for the items in the new collection will be communicated in early September.
