Tourists can watch turtles nesting on the beach
As a holiday destination, Oman has rather stayed under the radar and only recently have people begun recognising its hidden jewels.
Traditionally, for many people, Oman has consisted
of a week stay at Easter or Christmas just outside Muscat in one of the many beach resorts in the bays. There are certainly many wonderful resorts with a plethora of choice when it comes to swimming pools, beaches and activities.
But there is so much more to see in Oman - and as people’s desire to experience adventure grows, Oman has so much to offer which will delight adults and enthrall children.
Weekend a La Carte has offered Oman as a destination for several years, but wanted to offer something new. A four night taster of Oman which shared the best nature, wildlife and landscape that Oman has to offer; something for those who were short of time or who wanted to bolt on an adventure to their Muscat relaxation.
The four night Oman Express includes a dolphin spotting boat trip, an overnight in an air-conditioned luxury tent in Wahiba Sands in the desert, watching nesting turtles on the beach, swimming in the spectacular limestone Bimah sinkhole, dune bashing and much, much more.
Abigail Street, marketing director of www.weekendalacarte.co.uk said: “We always try to offer once in a lifetime experiences in any break we develop, and in Oman there three or four of them – it really is a spectacular destination.”
