Signature Clubs International has just announced the arrival of former Royal Automobile Club Manager Christian Horvath as the new General Manager of Capital Club Dubai.
Christian has a sterling track record in hospitality, having worked at many great London hotels including Claridges, The Dorchester, and the Hilton Park Lane before managing the Royal Automobile Club for 7 years. Most recently, he was Managing Director at 5 Hertford Street, London's latest exclusive private dining Club.
Russell Matcham, Signature Clubs CEO commented: “We are delighted to have Christian join the Dubai team. We believe that the combination of hotel, private club, plus his experience in the new private dining club scene, places him in good stead to lead our flagship Club.”
Christian Horvath added: “I am thrilled to be a part of such a dynamic Club and team, and excited to learn about the culture of the region. The DIFC community as a whole is extremely impressive, as is the city of Dubai. I have already had the great privilege to attend a Members Only Club event, which hosted a superior line up of panelists, attended by an even more special gathering of the who’s who of business in the region. Taking the Club to the next level will be a challenge I will relish greatly”.
During her two-year tenure, the outgoing GM Emma Cullen, raised the bar and saw the Club selected by CNN as one of the world's top ten most exclusive private clubs in the world. Other milestone moments for which she will be remembered, have included the Club’s celebration on the night of Dubai's EXPO 2020 win; and the much-loved ‘People Who Shaped Dubai’ speaker series, which has featured iconic personalities such as the late Sir Maurice Flanagan KBE, founding CEO & former EVP of Emirates. And Paul Griffiths, CEO Dubai Airports.
