Aswan witnessed a tourist boom

The city of Aswan witnessed a tourist boom and a remarkable activity after the return of tourism movement again with the beginning of the winter tourist season which attracts tourists. Aswan governorate received 780 foreign tourists of different nationalities through charter flights from their country to Aswan airport to visit the tourist attractions and archaeological sites.

Head of Tourist Chamber in Aswan Abdel Hadi Mohamed said that The percentage of occupancy of hotels in the province witnessed a significant increase of 52% and there is an increase in tourist arrivals in the province, especially as the celebrations of the sun orthopedics on the face of Ramses II in the city of Abu Simbel next to the performances of folk arts teams on the land of Aswan.

He expressed his appreciation to the measures taken by the security forces to protect the tourists who visit the governorate during the current critical period, stressing that the warm weather is one of the major factors that attract the tourists to Egypt, especially Aswan, during the winter
