The Emirates Red Crescent, ERC, has signed an agreement to rehabilitate and maintain the Adh Dhlia'ah District Health Centre in Hadramaut Governorate.
The agreement comes in line with the continued support provided by the UAE, in implementation of the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to develop the health sector services and infrastructure projects in the Yemeni governorates.
Abdullah Al Musafri, Head of the ERC in Hadramaut, signed the agreement with the Shakhmar Contracting Company, in the presence of several local officials and the company's representative.
Al Musafri said that the agreement is part of the framework of the continuous Emirati support for the health and humanitarian sector, to enhance the performance of hospitals and the health sector in Hadramaut Governorate. He also stressed the ERC's desire to carry out humanitarian, relief, health and infrastructure projects in various liberated governorates.
Abdullah Taleb bafaraj Al Daini, Head of the Health Office in the Directorate, extended his thanks and appreciation to the UAE and its humanitarian branch, represented by the ERC, for supporting and rehabilitating local and government institutions in Hadramaut.
