The upcoming Ramadan season is dominated by violent and action, but most of the dramas are filled with artistic duets and romance tales that face problems. Tim Hassan and Nadine Najim are one of the most prominent romantic couples that participate in this Ramadan season for the third year at a row after “Cello” and “Half Day” in a new series called “Dominance”. The series is about a woman called “Alia” who lives with her husband and child in a foreign country and when the husband dies, she return to Lebanon to bury him and faces problems with his family who trying to take her child, and the only way she could stay with her child is to marry her late husband brother “Gabal”, who works in weapons’ smuggling.
Actor Hamada Helal and actress Yusra Al Louzy appear this season in a love story that faces issues as the hero is poor and the heroine is from a healthy family in “Jackpot” series. This series is written by Ahmed Abu Zaid and starring Hanan Sulaiman and Mai al-Qadi, Sahar al-Sayegh and Mustapha Abu-Srai’.
One of the most prominent couples in this season is Mena Shalaby and Khaled Al Nabawi in “Sunset Oasis” based on Bahaa Taher story. The series is about a love story that combines an Egyptian army officer with English Catherine who loves antiquities then the officer gets transferred as a sort of punishment for his revolutionary thoughts to Oases area where they meet each other.
Actress Yasmin Abdul Aziz and actor Mustafa Khater also participate in “She lost it” series as a couple. Nelly Karim also appears in a love story with Ahmed Fahmy in “for the highest price” series that tells the story of a ballerina. Actress Hend Sabry works with Dhafer L’Abidine in “Life’s Sweetness” series, written by Tamer Habib. The series tells the story of a woman getting ready for her marriage but on the day of the wedding, she discovers she has cancer.
