Assaf has no plans to become a politician
Syrian actor Rashid Assaf is optimistic about the future of the country\'s drama industry, despite the ongoing civil war.
The veteran has told Arabstoday that Syrian dramas
have a strong history and tradition, and claims that international satellite companies had shown interest in some productions before the conflict began.
Assaf has outlined his plans for the future, with three different projects in the pipeline. The actor has completed filming of television drama, Haerat, and is set to work on Tuq el-Banat.
