Cairo- Taha Hafez
The Egyptian actress Rania Mahmoud Yasin has expressed her concern and her sadness about the current situation in Egypt. In an exclusive interview with Arabstoday, she said: "Since the revolution, young people
have paid the price of freedom and social justice. Whenever a political change occurred, some Egyptian youths died as a result. It has become a normal thing here."
The actress added: "When will stability return to Egypt? We need to start rebuilding this country - I only hope it is not too late."
Rania Mahmoud Yasin will resume filming of the series "The Mother of Patience", which explores the life of Zaynab al-Ghazali, an Egyptian activist closely related to the Muslim Brotherhood who passed away in 2005. The series was written by Ahmed Ashour and is directed by Ahmad Ismail Al-Hariri.
