The Lebanese singer Marwan Khoury has denied to Arabstoday the rumours of a romantic relationship between himself and Sabine Atallah, as well as his supposed intentions of marrying
her. Khoury only said that Atallah is a close friend, and expressed surprise about those who fabricate such issues.
Khoury also denied that has returned to Rotana now, or that he will do in the near future.
He said that he was very happy for his brother, the director Claude Khoury debut video song “Konna Ettafa’na” (We’ve Agreed), pointing out that the idea of the video was in sync with the spirit ahd calmness of the song. He also stated that he is a firm believer in having a calm attitude towards life.
Khoury added that his collaboration with the singer Elissa in her new song would leave a good impression for his fans.
He also stated that working with Majida El-Roumi was a different experience to his past collaborations and was a unique feeling.
Khoury continued by saying that even though he has made some successful songs, primarily to be closer to his fans, some have not reciprocated back this appreciation. The Arabic proverb “Fear those whom you were kind to\", reminds him of this fact.
He concluded by saying that now he is working with the his true fans who really appreciate his work, also he is collaborating with senior established artists who have added a lot of positives to to his career. Khoury added that by definition, he does not like problems and prefers to turn his back to those who have been disloyal to him in order to move forward.
