Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram
Cairo – Taha Hafiz
Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram stated she will be dedicating her new album “Super Nancy” to children and it will be her gift to them.
“After releasing the album \"Shakhbat Shakhabeet\" I gained a new segment
of young fans and it made me extremely happy when I would see them dancing whilst listening to my music” she said, “This was hard for me to ignore so I then realised it was my duty to also communicate with them.” Nancy said the new album contains irresistible songs with a new combination dedicated to children. “I really do hope they like it! I adore children, which is why I dedicated this album to them. My daughters have participated in the video for the song “Ya Banat” (Hey Girls) as requested by my audience.” The song itself was an important choice for Nancy. “I wanted to send a message to people that they should not feel sad or negative when they have daughters; women are an important part of society and have such an active role today. This is why I felt it was vital to do a song like “Ya Banat.”
Talking about the strangest incident of her life as a celebrity, Nancy reminisced the time she performed with Spanish singer Jose Galvez. “It was a great performance, but he surprised me by kissing my feet after singing together in one of the episodes of Coke Studio. I tried to stop him but I couldn’t and the audience began applauding Jose for his actions. This was the weirdest, yet funniest, situation I’ve been through in my life.”
The famous singer said she agreed to release a new duo with the Lebanese singer Wael Kfouri but still didn’t decide which song to prepare.
